Vehbi Koç Foundation established The Koç School’s high school in 1988 and it quickly became one of Turkey’s most prestigious educational institutions. With the Ministry of Education’s eight-year continuous education mandate soon after, the primary and middle schools were founded in 1998.
Although the school quickly adapted to the 4+4+4 system the Ministry of Education presented in 2012 and was separated into three sections as primary, middle and high schools during the 2012-2013 academic year, it still maintains its K-12 philosophy and is called The Koç School.
