A monthly housing allowance of NT$10,000 is provided.
Taxes
18%, non-resident rate for the first 6 months; 5-7% thereafter, dependent upon the number of dependents and eligible deductions. There is a settling-in allowance to help reduce the burden of an 18% tax rate.
Flights/Transport
Overseas hires are eligible for an airfare reimbursement to assist with relocation costs to Taiwan.
Dependent Opportunities
Qualified teachers are entitled to tuition discounts for up to two dependents starting from their second contract.
