Who We Are
B.I.S. is a private, not-for-profit, co-educational school of the Private Kant-Schulen Foundation that has provided high quality international education since 1998. Though English is our main language of instruction, there is a strong emphasis on bilingualism (English-German) in a multilingual, diverse and vibrant student population representing over 70 different nationalities. We cater for the full range of German language levels at all grade levels - from beginner to native. The school offers the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) in Grades 1-5, leading to an international middle years curriculum that culminates with Cambridge IGCSE programme in Grades 9 & 10 (as well as the Berlin state examinations Berufsbildungsreife and Mittlerer Schulabschluss). We offer the renowned IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Grades 11 & 12 allowing our students to qualify for colleges and universities all over the world. We work in close cooperation with Kita International which is the early childhood center on our campus. Kita International offers an enriching program for children ages 3-6.

We offer a wide range of extra curricular activities encompassing arts, music and sports. B.I.S. teams compete in the German International School Sports Tournaments and we are the reigning 2021-2022 champions.
