The Bahrain Bayan School is an independent, non-profit institution, which functions under Bahrain government law and is licensed by the Bahrain Ministry of Education. The school offersthe International Baccalaureate college preparatory program and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. It is administered by the Director General, governed by a Board of Trustees and operated by dedicated faculty and staff. The school is also a member of the Near East/South Asia Association of International Schools.

The school was established in 1982 by parents in response to their perceived need for a bilingual, national school. The school offers an unique international teaching experience offering great cross-cultural knowledge and educational incentives and seeks to recruit individuals who are passionate in the field of education.

The faculty and staff of the Bahrain Bayan School is a combination of diverse cultures from various corners of the globe united in creating students who are competent decision makers, problem solvers and critical thinkers while preserving the tenets of traditional values. The parents of Bayan students are well educated and come from the professional and entrepreneurial sectors of Bahrain as well as the ruling family. The school is rich in Arab culture and tradition, thereby creating a blend of East and West. The objective of the school is to provide an educational environment which will encourage the student to become a self-directed and motivated individual, capable of appreciating the inherent value of education, applying it to life in a global society, while preserving the tenets of Islamic values.

Fully Furnished school provided accommodation equivalent to $850 per month if cash in lieu

Annual airfare to point of origin (summer ticket) and daily free transport to and from the School.
