One of the largest International Schools with branch campuses at different locations in Malaysia, we are seeking a suitable candidate for the role of Principal for one of our branch campuses. The responsibilities of the Principal include:
1. Provide educational leadership and oversight for the strategic development of the school and quality delivery of programmes for students’ academic success, holistic development, and completion of their programmes.
2. Ensure that the delivery of various international programmes in the School comply with the requirements of MOE and other statutory/ regulatory bodies.
3. Work with teachers and administrators on effective delivery and management of academic programmes, in particular, quality assurance and compliance with the regulatory requirements of the ministries of education external examination bodies.
4. Conduct regular curriculum reviews, class observations, and professional development for effective teaching by staff and learning by students and ensure relevance to students’ needs.
5. Promote engagement and productivity amongst academic and administration staff and manage staff performance; to work with the Executive Director’s Office and Human Resource Department on matters relating to manpower planning, staff employment (selection, retention, and termination), performance evaluation, and professional conduct.
6. Perform liaison and communication duties, serving as a key representative of the School and its programmes to all stakeholders including parent groups, media and the larger community, and participate in student recruitment activities and promotions as necessary.
