The Teacher of Music’s main area of responsibility will be the teaching, leadership, and management of Music across the Elementary and Middle Schools.
The Teacher of Music is directly line managed by the Head of Secondary.
Applicants must have the following professional qualifications:
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• Secondary Teaching qualification (PGCE, Diploma etc.) which is approved by ADEK
Applicants should have excellent music performance skills and competent piano skills would be an advantage.
The main area of responsibilities will include the development and delivery of Music, including direct responsibility for the following additional key areas
• Curriculum Development (including Scope and Sequence Documentation)
• Extra-Curricular Music, K-12
• Future development of AP courses
