We are delighted to welcome applications for the post of Head of Primary, to lead our primary team in providing a happy, caring, and stimulating environment to all students.

The Head of Primary plays a key role in the leadership of the school and has direct responsibility for the development of the Primary section of the school. They work on the development of strategic plans and ensure that the operational capacity of the school is in place to deliver those plans. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Primary for our School, who will play a pivotal role in our current educational offerings and be instrumental in our future developments. This role is ideal for a
visionary leader with a passion for educational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership and Management:
· Contribute to our mission of providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds.
· In collaboration with the senior leadership team, ensuring primary alignment with the school's vision, mission, and identity.
· Support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in primary education.
· Resources Planning:
· Ability to use management softwares and systems, enabling and supporting data-driven approaches to decision making.
· Assist in budget management, resource allocation, and policy implementation.
· Support the School in its digital transformation
· Faculty Management and Mentoring:
· Recruit, inspire, mentor, and manage primary staff.
· Coordinate and conduct performance reviews, facilitating a collaborative work environment.
· Community Engagement:
· Engage with the school community, including parents, students, and other stakeholders.
· Student Development:
· Contribute to create a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
· Oversee implementation of strategies to address individual student needs and enhance overall student achievement.
· Coordinate in-house implementation and development of unique teaching and learning solutions.
· Facilities and Operations:
· Collaborate with the operation team to ensure the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of school facilities.
· Compliance and Accountability
· Ensure the school's compliance with relevant educational regulations and standards.
· Implement assessment and evaluation processes to measure and improve the primary department performance.
· Project Management for New Developments:
· Oversee the development of primary school’s curriculum, facilities, staffing, and operational strategies.

Other:
· To comply with, adhere to, and actively support school policies and procedures.
· To carry out any other duties that are commensurate with the role and as instructed by school management.
· To adhere to the school’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and to perform any school wide designated duties with regard to Health and Safety and the security of the school.
· Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organisation. This job description serves as a guide to the general duties of the role and may be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:
· Experience of the British Curriculum.
· Qualified to teach in the UK (QTS) or similar qualification.
· Masters’ degree preferred.

Skills and Attributes:
· Proven track record of primary leadership and improvement.
· Experience of school accreditation process preferred.
· Excellent management and organisational skills, including use of technologies.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
· Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
