Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being among female students, along with the ability to inspire and motivate them to lead active lifestyles.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons to female students in middle school and high school.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with the school's standards and objectives for physical education.
- Provide instruction in various sports, fitness activities, and health-related topics to promote overall wellness.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their physical development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, intramural events, and interscholastic competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education concepts across the curriculum and promote a holistic approach to health and wellness.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and active learning community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with best practices in physical education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Teaching diploma or certification from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching physical education, preferably to female students, at the middle school and/or high school level.
- Knowledge of various sports, fitness principles, and health-related topics.
- Experience in coaching or organizing sports activities and events.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
