Haileybury Almaty is entering an exciting new era as it prepares to become Wellington College International School Almaty, joining the global Wellington College International family.

Important note: During the 2026/27 academic year, the school will continue to operate under the Haileybury Almaty name and brand. From summer 2027, the school will transition to the Wellington College International brand. For our teachers, this means the opportunity to join us at a particularly exciting moment - becoming part of the school’s next chapter from the very beginning.

Established in 2008 in partnership with Haileybury College in the UK, Haileybury Almaty is a well-established international school with a strong academic reputation and a warm, collegial community. With close to 800 students from Reception to Year 13, we provide an outstanding education rooted in the traditions of British independent education, while maintaining a strong connection to Kazakhstan and its culture.

Our academic programme leads to IGCSE and A Level qualifications, with students regularly progressing to leading universities around the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Harvard, CalTech, Stanford, Yale, MIT, UCL and other world class top university destinations.
