TWS is an accredited Cambridge International School and an official International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The school is duly incorporated into the Mexican Ministry of Education (SEP). It is also incorporated with the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México (UNAM) Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades.The Wingate School is a British International School in Mexico City which offers an educational programme delivered in English focussed on academic excellence, creativity and human formation. The school aims to form a community of critical thinkers who have a multicultural perspective and social commitment.
Calendar System
The Wingate School follows an international school calendar; classes run from August to June with approximately 180 school days.
Academic Programs
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE): Cambridge International curriculum for 14-16 year olds.
International Baccalaureate (IBDP): Our students take IB courses in the last two years of high school, years 12 and 13, and after completing the examination requirements they obtain the globally-recognized IB Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Organization.
English is the language of instruction at TWS for all subjects except for additional language courses.
