The Franconian International School

The Franconian International School is an IB World School with high expectations and rigorous educational standards. In a values-based and caring environment, young people are supported in becoming active and engaged global citizens and life-long learners. The FIS provides an inquiry-based curriculum for students from Early Years classes for three-year-olds through the Primary and Secondary Schools to graduation in Grade 12 with the International Baccalaureate (IB) as well as the FIS High School Diploma. An education at the Franconian International School provides your children with the best preconditions for success anywhere in the world. The FIS is also accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC) and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Our primary school is currently transitioning from the IPC to the IB PYP.
