TASOK, located in central Africa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is an established school started in 1961 we are a preschool through 12 American International school. TASOK is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Council of International Schools. TASOK is an authorized IB Diploma school and a candidate for PYP and MYP authorization which we have begun implementing this school year.
The TASOK school campus itself is beautiful, 42 acres of garden in the midst of a kinetic, dusty, at times confusing urban scene. We have generator back up for both the school and faculty residences and a back-up water system. All teachers live in housing units on campus. Teachers have opportunities to connect with the local community through service learning.
