Rosslyn Academy is a vibrant international Christian school in Nairobi, Kenya, offering a North American curriculum and standards, from Preschool through Grade 12. Founded in 1947, our diverse community of 700+ students represents over 50 nationalities.
We are fully accredited with both the Middle States Association (MSA) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We have an international staff, mostly recruited from the United States and Canada. Rosslyn Academy is a joint effort of the Eastern Mennonite, Southern Baptist, and Assemblies of God missions in Eastern Africa, though the school is non-denominational in faith, practice, and hiring.

Accommodation
- A furnished house (including utilities, internet, security, etc.) on campus for expatriate staff and housing and commuting allowances for national staff.
Flights/Transport
An outfitting allowance that is sufficient for flights and shipping at the start and end of employment.
Re-outfitting allowance and furlough flights for the family to home country every two years
Furniture
Furnished housing (including cutlery/crockery, utilities, internet, security, etc.) is provided on campus for expatriate staff while locally hired staff receive housing and commuting allowances.
Taxes
The school pays all taxes on salary and all benefits on the quoted salary . Taxation rate is about 30%.
Medical
Rosslyn recognizes the importance of a good medical cover and provides an international cover (in patient/out patient, dental, optical) for the family. We also have a Wellness Centre on campus and our doctor and nurses are often the first call for consultation.
Dependent Opportunities
Rosslyn offers a full education benefit for our teaching staff. Where a couple is employed by the school (FTE of at least 1.5) the tuition benefit covers three children.
