Established in 1979, IPEKA Christian School was originated from a deep concern of a pastor, Rev. DR. William Hodaviah Hosana, who witnessed the difficulties many Christian families face in finding an excellent Christian school for their children. On July 16th, 1979, IPEKA Christian Kindergarten started its first academic year.
Under IPEKA Foundation, IPEKA Christian School was fully supported by the Synod of Gereja Kristus Yesus (GKY) in Jakarta. While our school community welcomes students and parents of all faiths and cultural backgrounds, we have a firm foundation in our ethos, values, and principles of Christian faith and tradition.
Today, we celebrate a community of over 11.000 students and 1.200 teachers across 15 campuses around Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Palembang, Balikpapan, and Makassar.
IPEKA Christian School offers a Christ-centered curriculum that teaches students with a Biblical worldview so that our students shape their perception and interpretation of the world based on their Christian beliefs.
IPEKA Christian School also partners with International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization to offer the IB Diploma Programme, Pearson Edexcel, Australian New South Wales and Wheaton Bible Curriculum with ACSI and WASC accreditation.
