The International School of Toulouse is located on a four-hectare site in the town of Colomiers on the western edge of Toulouse. Our campus consists of several buildings which include light and modern classrooms and other teaching areas for our students from age 3 to 18.
The Staff at the International School of Toulouse are highly qualified, professional and dedicated. Committed to guiding our students to aim for academic excellence, they each contribute to the sense of community our students enjoy, as well as working to foster a positive, pro-active learning environment where individuals are encouraged, supported, and given the tools they need to learn, grow and flourish.
As a school we invest in the professional development of our staff to ensure we remain at the very forefront of the latest developments in education. Staff attend workshops, conferences and training and visit other international schools. The International School of Toulouse also organises events which attract practitioners from around the world.
Staff turnover is very low but recent expansion has resulted in the recruitment of additional staff resulting in an advantageous balance of experience, enthusiasm and new ideas.
Please note that, to be considered for a teaching position at IST, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and PGCE. Applicants should also have a minimum of two year’s classroom teaching experience, preferably in an IB World School. It is essential for all applicants to hold the nationality of one of the European Union countries, or valid French working papers.
