Number of Contract Days

The period of DAF contract is (One Academic Year) commencing from assuming duties at the schools and ending by the end of the academic year. The schools will pay the employee in return for the official duties as outlined in the job description a monthly basic salary and transportation allowance of Saudi Riyals payable at the end of each Gregorian month. The employee appointed in an educational position shall be entitled for a payable annual leave (45) days at the end of the academic year.

Taxes

The sum paid to the employee of the money or corporeal benefits the employee enjoys as per this contract will be subject to the taxes and fees as determined by the Kingdom at the time of service. There is currently no taxation in the Kingdom.

Accommodation

The school will provide furnished accommodation or housing allowance as per the school offer. The school will provide housing to only one spouse if both work for the schools. The employee will be liable for utilities.

Flights/Transport

The schools will provide the employee with economy class air tickets from Jeddah to the city where the contract is finalized, provided that the employee’s family is resident on permanent basis with the employee. The tickets shall be as follows:
-Upon making the contract and in the location where the contract was finalized.
-Upon taking the annual vacation: tickets provided to employee + wife + 2 kids below 12 years.
-Upon the expiration of the contract period or terminated by the school.

Dependent Opportunities

Schools do not pay any financial compensation to cover the tuition fees for the employee’s children, but the employee can register his/her children at the school with specific employee discount (according to the school policy).

Medical

The schools will cover medical insurance in accordance with the medical insurance program applicable by the schools for the employee and his/her family including two kids under 18 years living with him/her.
