Situated in a beautiful location in the small town of Darwen, Lancashire, Aurora Woodlands School is a small specialist school providing personalised, tailored academic and therapeutic support in a calm, nurturing environment.
Many of the young people who come to us have had a poor experience of formal educational settings in the past, and may face significant barriers to learning. With the support of our trained, skilled and experienced teaching and therapeutic staff, students are able to overcome their barriers and to develop the skills they need to thrive in their lives beyond school.
