The International School of Penang (Uplands) is a vibrant and forward-thinking community that prioritizes creativity, flexibility, and innovation. Uplands is a not-for-profit IB Continuum World School, accredited by CIS, offering an engaging educational experience for students from Year 1 to Year 13 on a picturesque 4-acre campus in the resort township of Batu Ferringhi, just 30 minutes from George Town city.

As a fully accredited IB Continuum School, we offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Years 1–6, the newly accredited Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Years 7–9, the IGCSE in Years 10–11, and the highly regarded IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12–13, where our students consistently achieve excellent results.

At Uplands, we emphasize building strong relationships, which lie at the heart of our educational philosophy.
