Since 2001, founders Mr Kyomi Hioki and Mrs Mami Hioki have devoted themselves to equipping children with the tools and knowledge to succeed in an uncertain and constantly changing world.
Their common mission led to the development of an International School focussed on building critical thinking through consistent hands-on, scientific experiments and observations. This approach to education quickly found a following and has since gone from strength to strength.
We know this school today as Laurus International School of Science - one of Tokyo’s established educational institutions and the only international science school in Japan. Social Insurance: The employee will be enrolled in the company insurance plan. Shakai hoken , or Social Insurance, combines Health Insurance (kenkou hoken) and Pension Insurance (kosei nenkin) into one system. The insurance fee varies depending on your salary and the monthly premium is split 50-50 with your employer, with your half being directly deducted from your paycheck. Social Insurance covers a wide range of medical and drug costs, including dental treatment.
