American International School Hong Kong

A private, independent, international day school, American International School (AIS) has been serving Hong Kong's local and international communities since 1986. The school is proprietary and registered as a not-for-profit organisation. Located in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong, the school is organised into three divisions - Elementary, Middle, and High - and serves a student population of approximately 930 children from Early Childhood through Grade 12. As of November 2025, enrollment in the Elementary School stands at 370 pupils, with 330 students in Middle School and 270 students in High School. AIS's Future Framework ensures that school experiences remain relevant to the needs of students and are focused on the development of essential skills and mindsets needed for personal and professional success. Learning design places a premium on nurturing student confidence through the intentional construction of teaching and learning experiences that are Social, Personal and Applied (SPA).
