About: Tsinglan School
Founded in 2017 and now home to over 1,900 students, Tsinglan School has rapidly emerged as one of Southern China’s most respected bilingual international schools. Situated in the scenic Songshan Lake area, halfway between Shenzhen and Guangzhou, the school offers a peaceful, modern campus on 30 acres of land. With accreditation from both Cognia and WASC, Tsinglan provides a robust Pre-K to Grade 12 education. Teachers benefit from small class sizes (20–24 students), a strong focus on continuous professional development, and a diverse staff community – more than 85% of faculty members have international experience, and over 90% hold a master’s degree or higher.
Tsinglan combines academic excellence with innovation, offering a hybrid curriculum that merges international frameworks with Chinese education principles. The school features a seamless PK–12 progression, with a Montessori-inspired kindergarten, an American standards-based program through middle school, and AP and CAIE options at the high school level. The school’s motto, “Try, and all is possible,” reflects its commitment to fostering curiosity, courage, and character in both staff and students.

The school values holistic development, placing equal emphasis on academic success, emotional intelligence, creative thinking, and social responsibility. Teachers are supported to be innovators in the classroom and collaborators in the school community. There is a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and empowerment, with a collaborative work environment that fosters open dialogue, shared leadership, and reflective practice.
