Okinawa Christian School was established in 1957 to provide Christ-centred education for the children of evangelical missionaries. OCSI currently serves over 500 students in its PreK to 12 program.
Classes are taught in English using an American-style curriculum that addresses the whole person, is Biblically based, recognises all truth is God’s truth, emphasises sharing the Gospel and discipleship, and encourages Biblical thinking and living. The curriculum prepares students for post-secondary education or for employment, while reflecting an international perspective.
There are three divisions: elementary school (Pre K – grade 5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). OCSI admits students from all backgrounds and languages, however; second language students must meet basic English proficiency levels for admission.

I have been a school-level user of Schrole for recruiting for the last three hiring cycles and have found the platform they provide to be intuitive and comprehensive. The user interface stands out from others in the market as a crisp interface with the right level of features included at the right places. For me, the top two features are the ability to create school-specific application questions for applicants, and the availability of a short and long form applicant documentation PDF. If you’re looking for a recruiting platform, I highly recommend considering Schrole.
