CIA FIRST International School (Cambodia) opened its first school of 17 children in 2004. Today, VIA FIRST now encompasses three internationally accredited campuses, two new campuses under construction, with over 5,000 students and more than 1,100 personnel from Cambodia and around the world.

CIA FIRST is proud to offer dual International and Khmer curricula, which allows students to obtain both local and international qualifications, whilst continually enhancing their Khmer cultural learning and language understanding.

Benefits: CIA FIRST International School (Cambodia)

Number of Contract Days: 188 Teaching Days.

Starting Salary Range: $1,400 – $3,000 (Depending on position).

Taxes: Up to 10% (progressive tax)

Accommodation: CIA FIRST International School provides assistance to teachers moving to Cambodia through a local real estate agent. Accommodation in Phnom Penh can range from $200 – $600 per month depending on location and utilities.

Moving Allowance: CIA FIRST International School will provide you with up to $1,000 once-off relocation allowance (depending on location) if the travel documents from your location to Phnom Penh are presented.

Dependent Opportunities: Beginning of employment: free registration and 50% on tuition fee until 2nd year. From 3rd year on 75% on tuition fee

Medical: International Health Insurance for all staff (up to $100,000 per year inpatient treatment. $300 Outpatient treatment). Ability to add dependents to the insurance. CIA FIRST International School has a group insurance that teachers can opt onto. The insurance is provided by MSH China. Covers up to $750,000 USD per year.

Other: Cambodian Business Visa: 100% of the visa costs over the school year reimbursed; Cambodian Work Permit: 100% of the Work Permit costs covered; International Health Insurance covered for all staff
