the applicant has a confirmed offer of employment and is employed in a job relevant to his academic qualifications or work experience that cannot be readily taken up by the local work force; and
the remuneration package including income, accommodation, medical and other fringe benefits is broadly commensurate with the prevailing market level for professionals in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Once your work visa is approved, you will be permitted to work legally in Hong Kong as an international teacher. It’s important to remember that your work visa is tied to your employer, so if you change jobs, you’ll need to apply for a new work visa.
