Position: Secondary School Social Studies Teacher
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Secondary School Social Studies Teacher to join our Social Studies department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Studies at the secondary school level, using a Common Core curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certificate
- Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching Social Studies at the high/secondary school level
- Experience teaching Common Core curriculum preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills
- A background history screening is part of the hiring process
