About the Role
Panyaden International School is seeking an inspiring, values-driven Secondary School Principal to lead our Years 7–13 programme of approximately 180 students. This is a unique opportunity to guide a growing international school that combines the UK Curriculum and IB Diploma Programme with Buddhist values and a commitment to sustainability.
As Principal, you will work closely with the Head of School and Executive Leadership Team to ensure academic excellence, promote student well-being, and strengthen community engagement. You will help shape an inclusive, supportive, and mindful educational environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the IB Diploma Programme
Support and mentor teaching staff through coaching and professional development
Oversee curriculum planning, admissions, and academic assessment
Promote student well-being and a safe, inclusive school culture
Collaborate on strategic planning, budgeting, and school accreditation
Strengthen partnerships with families and the wider school community
Skills and Qualifications
Master’s degree in Education or related field
Valid teaching license
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in secondary/international education
Demonstrated success with the IB Diploma Programme
Strong strategic and operational leadership skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Alignment with Buddhist values and openness to mindfulness practices
Willingness to participate in our annual school meditation retreat
