The Opportunity
Avenues Shenzhen seeks a Residential Life Manager for our new Student Dormitory Program to join the Shenzhen campus for the school year 2025/2026. This role is responsible for ensuring that students under their care are effectively supported so that they can thrive at Avenues. They will work closely with a Student Wellbeing Team, as well as with the broader curriculum innovation team, teachers, and campus leadership.

Responsibilities
As a member of the Student Wellbeing Team, you will:
●Provide a safe, stimulating, and supporting environment for all students to thrive and feel known and cared for on and off campus.
●Develop a dorm life program that supports learning, growth, and individual development, that promotes student wellbeing in multiple manifestations throughout the day, week, and school year.
●Work with a great team, building strong relationships with the other members, as well as the teaching faculty.
●Be an exemplary learner, always reflecting, growing, and seeking to improve.

Qualifications
You bring all or most of the following:
●Educational or professional background in education, student life, and/or residential life programs in secondary or post-secondary programs.
●Conduct risk assessments and manage health and safety protocols for the boarding environment.
●More than two years of experience as a teacher, counselor, or residential life team member.
●Demonstrating experience overseeing the daily operations of the boarding facilities, ensuring that they meet safety, health, and educational standards.
●Prior experience supporting students in schools, specifically with one-on-one practice or small group interventions.
●Sense of deep personal responsibility by being able to develop and implement boarding policies, procedures, and standards for the boarding program.
●Deep willingness to collaborate.
●Bilingual and professionally proficient in both Chinese and English.
