The Primary Homeroom Teacher plays a pivotal role in providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students in an international school setting. As a Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for the holistic development of your assigned class, fostering a positive classroom culture, planning and delivering high-quality instruction across various subjects. This position requires a passionate and dedicated educator with a deep understanding of primary education and a commitment to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities:
-Curriculum Planning and Instruction: Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards. --Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
-Homeroom Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for students in your assigned class. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being, personal growth, and positive behaviour management.
-Individualized Support: Identify and address the unique learning needs of students through differentiation, individualized instruction, and targeted interventions. ---------Collaborate with learning support specialists and parents to develop personalized learning plans, as needed.
-Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and provide timely feedback on their academic performance, strengths, and areas for improvement. Utilize various assessment tools and strategies to track individual student achievement and inform instructional planning.
-Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to foster strong partnerships and promote a positive learning environment. Conduct parent-teacher conferences, provide progress reports, and promptly respond to inquiries or concerns.
-Classroom Management: Establish clear expectations and routines to create a structured and supportive learning environment. Implement effective behavior management strategies, promote positive social interactions, and model appropriate behaviour for students.
-Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional growth by actively participating in relevant workshops, conferences, and collaborative learning opportunities. Stay updated with current educational practices, research, and technologies applicable to primary education.
-Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues and curriculum coordinators to design and refine a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum that reflects the school's educational goals and caters to the needs of a diverse student population. Contribute to curriculum planning meetings and share best practices with colleagues.

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in primary education.
-Teaching certification or qualification from a recognized authority.
-Experience teaching primary-aged students, preferably in an international school context.
-Strong knowledge of primary curriculum frameworks and standards.
-Excellent planning, instructional, and organizational skills.
-Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
-Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction.
-Understanding of different learning styles and strategies for differentiation.
-Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with educational trends and practices.
