Position: Middle School Drama Teacher
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Middle School Drama Teacher to join our Performing Arts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching drama and theatre studies to middle school students following the IB MYP curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching drama at the middle school level
- Experience with the IB MYP curriculum preferred
- Strong knowledge of theatre history, acting techniques, stagecraft, directing skills, script analysis, improvisation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
- Passionate about working with young people; ability to inspire creativity among students.

Benefits
Accommodation
The school provides housing for the first year. In the following year, teachers may opt for a housing allowance that ranges from about 8,000 to 15,000 RMB per month, which can be utilized for their preferred accommodation. This allowance may differ depending on the individual's family members.
Flights/Transport
1. On-Boarding and End of Contract Completion Travel Benefits.
2. Summer Travel Benefits arranging from $1700 - $3400 annually depending on "Staff Type".
Reimbursed against receipts.
Moving Allowance
An allowance ranging from $300 to $1,000 will be provided, contingent upon the location. Reimbursement will be made upon submission of receipts.
Dependent Opportunities
BIBA will bear the expenses associated with registration, capital levy, and tuition fees. There is no restriction on the number of school-aged dependent children. Additionally, the school will provide the initial set of uniforms for each child. This is subject to compliance with the BIBA Admissions Policy requirements and applies to all school-aged children.
Medical
BIBA will offer insurance coverage throughout mainland China. Additionally, the policy extends to worldwide emergencies for a duration of 30 days while traveling outside of China. This coverage includes dependents, encompassing the employee's non-working spouse and up to three dependents who are 18 years of age or younger.
Bonus
A bonus of 20% will be awarded at the conclusion of the contract, contingent upon the successful fulfillment of all terms throughout the entire contract duration.
