Position: Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3 or Year 4) Class Teacher – August 2025 (Al Maharat)
Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Lower Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our team at APS starting in August 2025. This position is suitable for newly qualified teachers or early career educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality education to elementary/primary school students following the United Kingdom curriculum.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably within an elementary/primary school setting
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum standards and best practices in teaching methodologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
- ADEK approval or eligibility is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of all learners in Year 3 or Year 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' progress in line with the UK curriculum and school policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and personal growth.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff professional development.
