Job Description
Provides professional classroom instruction at the elementary, middle and/or high school level. May teach one or more academic subjects, special areas or teach all elementary classroom subjects. All teachers participate as members of collaborative teaching teams.
Major Responsibilities
• Perform daily classroom teaching activities and engage in purposeful planning.
• Define classroom achievement goals, practice technology-infused instruction, and plan
• individualized courses of study for students.
• Work in cooperation with other teachers, curriculum coordinators, administrators and other school personnel.
• Evaluate student progress using research-based formative and summative assessment practices on a regular basis. Communicate students' progress to parents and engage them in their children's learning. Recommend and implement remedial or enrichment activities.
• Follow established policies, procedures and school guidelines.
• Participate in co-and/or extra-curricular school activities.
• Assist in the design and review of curriculum, in cooperation with educational specialists, curriculum coordinators, school administration and peers. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Pursue continuous learning and professional growth.
• Positively contribute to school culture.

Qualifications
• Minimum two years of International Baccalaureate (IB) teaching experience in subject/area applying for
• Teaching degree and certification, or equivalent in subject/area applying for and minimum Bachelor's degree
• Experience and training in PYP/MYP/DP
• International teaching is preferred
