Position: Head of IB Programs
We are seeking an experienced Head of IB Programs who will be responsible for overseeing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP) at our school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director/Head of School to ensure that our students receive a world-class education that prepares them for success in higher education and beyond. The Head of the International Baccalaureate Programme at the European School is a key leadership position. The job holder is responsible to the ES School Director for the fulfilment of the vision, the day-to-day management, administration, facilitation and organization of the IB Programmes (PYP, MYP, DP & CP) to create the best learning environment for the students. The Head of the IB Programme is involved in the whole school implementation of the IB and is the direct point of contact with the IBO, BTEC or any other Educational service providers to the IB.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head of IB Programs or similar role
- Strong knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP)
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams effectively
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to develop curriculum plans aligned with the school's vision and mission statement
- Experience working in an international setting preferred
