The Koç School is recruiting a French Teacher to teach across the high school age range during 2025 - 2026 academic year. The school is looking for an inspiring and motivating teacher with the experience of IB DP. Courses based on the communicative and interactive approaches are taught from G9 to G11 (mainly DELF, IB and IGCSE based curriculum). The IB course is available in Grades 11 & 12, as an option.
The ideal candidates should:
be highly qualified to teach French at secondary level from a recognised body with at least four years’ teaching experience in a secondary school, preferably internationally,
have a thorough knowledge of the DELF and IB Diploma French (not essential) courses, knowledge and experience of other language programmes (IGCSE) used between Grades 9-12,
demonstrate understanding of the 21st-century teaching skill sets, the ability to actively collaborate and share good practice with a large striving international team to provide the best possible,
be a dynamic, committed and pro-active teacher with a strong work ethic and willing to demonstrate versatility and positivity,
be open to reflect on her/his own teaching and students outcomes, challenging herself/himself and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the student’s attainment,
be willing to participate in data-driven development and to contribute to the general welfare of the school.
be fluent in English.
