This position seeks an Elementary Music Teacher with a teaching license or certification in music education and at least three years of relevant experience, ideally within international school settings for Kindergarten through Grade 5 students. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in music curriculum aligned with National Arts Standards and Orff pedagogy, with additional experience in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. The role values a background in leading music-related extracurricular activities, experience with English Language Learners, and familiarity with Understanding by Design (UbD). Strong interpersonal skills, a growth mindset, a commitment to professional standards such as integrity and respect, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse setting are essential. A background check with a focus on child safeguarding is also required.
