Teaching license or certification for elementary school years.
At least 3 years of teaching experience.
Teaching experience in a similar type of international school and this age group (5-8 years old) is an advantage.
KG-Grade 2 Teachers: Experience with reading and writing methodology aligned with current science of reading
Experience with Workshop and a structured literacy model.
Experience teaching conceptual-based mathematics
Inquiry approach to teaching and learning (especially in the areas of Science and Social Studies)
Experience designing units with UBD - ‘Understanding by Design’ is an advantage
Experience teaching English Language Learners and supporting translanguaging is an advantage.
Experience using data to inform instruction through a Professional Learning Community (PLC)
Demonstrated knowledge and application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles within the classroom for students of mixed abilities.
