The Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) is an international, non-profit school with a focus on science, music and dance. BCS has a kindergarten and preschool, as well as a primary school and a secondary school. The Kindergarten and Preschool were founded in 2004, the Primary School in 2007 and the Secondary School in 2009. BCS with its three campuses, two located in the centre of Berlin Mitte, a quiet area between Alexanderplatz, Monbijou Park, Hackescher Markt & Prenzlauer Berg and the third in between the nature, Mügelsee. Over 820 children and students as well as 180 staff members from over 45 countries belong to the Berlin Cosmopolitan
School community.
At BCS, students are encouraged to become active and responsible global citizens. This includes strong academic skills and multilingualism as well as the development of social and intercultural competencies. An individual education and good academic, emotional and physical balance are paramount at BCS. We are currently looking for a Early Years Teacher (Ages 1-5) - Bilingual German-English Environment (m/f/d)

Position: Early Years Teacher

Location: Berlin, Germany

- Develop and implement a dynamic, diversity-sensitive curriculum tailored to the needs of children aged 1-5 in a bilingual German-English setting.
- Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment that promotes language acquisition, cognitive development, social-emotional growth, and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support the holistic development of each child.
- Employ innovative teaching methods and resources to engage children in active learning experiences.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or Special Needs Education.
- Previous experience working with young children in a multicultural or international setting.
- Proficiency in one of the both languages German or English, with strong communication skills in one of the languages.
- Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in early childhood education.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of individual learners.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
