This is an exciting and rare opportunity to become part of the founding team of Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh (SISPP) – “A School like no other in Cambodia.” As a member of this dynamic team, you will work closely with the Principal, Head of Primary, and a brand new teaching and support staff team, all dedicated to providing an outstanding education to our young learners.
Set in the rapidly expanding district of Chroy Changvar, with an exclusive riverside location along the majestic Mekong River, SISPP offers a British primary school-style education based on the National Curriculum of England for pupils aged 2 to 11. Our school is the newest member of the Shrewsbury family of schools, joining our campuses in Bangkok and Hong Kong, with a tradition of educational excellence rooted in 473 years of history.
We are deeply connected to Shrewsbury School, one of the UK’s most prestigious institutions, known for nurturing distinguished alumni, including the famous naturalist Charles Darwin. Our new, purpose-built primary school campus opened in September 2024, followed by our new all-through school campus in September 2026.

Shortlisting:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their application and invited to interview.
- Initial interviews will be conducted by the Head of Primary via Google Meet.
- Final interviews will be conducted by the Principal via Google Meet or in person when possible.
We reserve the right to close the application process early depending on the number of applications received.
Notification of Outcome:
Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible. We also offer professional feedback to unsuccessful shortlisted candidates.
Taking up Post:
The successful candidate will take up the post in August 2025, with induction starting on August 15th for staff arriving in Cambodia.
