Early Years Programme Coordinator (m/f/d). Starting date flexible, ideally January 2025 but August 2025 also possible.

We are looking for a coordinator at the earliest possible date who:
• Places international-mindedness at the core of their practice.
• Works collaboratively with the educators to improve children’s learning through improving teacher learning and practices.
• Leads staff in planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, documenting and recording learning within the framework of our Early Years Curriculum in consideration of the Berliner Bildungsprogramm.
• Fosters and grows professional inquiry as an individual and team learning tool.
• Takes on leadership responsibility.
• Leads the educators through the process of planning learning experiences, and in the ongoing development of the Early Years Curriculum.
• Demonstrates effective teaching methods in the Early Years environment.
• Liaises with the Kita Leadership Team to ensure continuity and progression.
• Supports and mentors new educators.
• Provides professional learning feedback for educators.
• Has an interest in curriculum development.
• Is knowledgeable about current pedagogical theory and educational research.
• Is passionate about education, committed to ongoing learning related to pedagogical theory and developments to grow their practice, has a growth mindset and brings enthusiasm and self-initiative.

General Requirements for Coordinator Position:
• A minimum of two years’ experience as an early year’s educator/teacher.
• Leadership experience is beneficial.
• English and German at a proficient level.

Our Kita
Campus Lentzeallee belongs to Private Kant-Schulen that have enriched Berlin's educational landscape for more than 60 years. With a focus on the English language, our early childhood center offers all-day care for 180 children aged 3 to 6. The children are cared for in age-homogeneous groups. Like the families at our early childhood center, our colleagues come from a wide variety of countries and together form a vibrant international community.
