Position: DP Psychology Teacher
We are currently seeking an experienced DP Psychology teacher to join our Social Sciences department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the subject of psychology at the high/secondary school level using the IB DP curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology or related field
- At least 3 years of teaching experience at the high/secondary school level
- Experience with IB DP curriculum preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments

Accommodation
Housing is provided and includes basic furniture and appliances. Normal housing maintenance and repair are provided at school expense.
Flights/Transport
GSIS provides one-way airfare for the Overseas Direct Hire (ODH) employees and dependent (minor) children from the home of record to Korea to the initial employment year and a one-way airfare for the employee and dependent (minor) children from Korea to the home of record after the final GSIS employment year. GSIS also provides an annual roundtrip to the home of record for full-time (ODH) employees and dependent (minor) children.
Utilities
GSIS provides apartment utilities, with the exception of monthly telephone, cable TV, and internet charges.
Moving Allowance
A relocation allowance of $1000 per employee and $200 per minor child is given to new ODH hires for passport, visa expenses, postal, or extra home expenses.
An identical departing relocation allowance is given to employees who complete their contracts.
On arrival, each ODH employee also receives a W600,000 cash allowance (at initial employment year only).

Medical: Overseas health insurance will be provided (TieCare Global Health Insurance excluded vision & dental)
Liability: Faculty are covered, within limits, by professional liability
insurance.
Retirement
GSIS contributes 8.33% of the staff salary to the Defined Contribution Retirement Pension Plan upon the completion of a final contract at GSIS.
GSIS contributes an amount equal to 4.5% of the total salary to the Korean Social Security Fund. This amount, plus interest, can be claimed from the Korean government at the end of the employee’s GSIS service and departure from Korea, depending on the employee’s citizenship and their country’s agreement with the Korean government.
